Just a quick update for the sake of posterity.
Despite the difficulties presented for the covid-19 pandemic, the project is progressing well. In february the project was approved by the independent panel of supervisors and therefore research could begin. After submitting a proposal, the project has also been approved by the ethics committee.
Since then the research and writing process has been underway, focussing on the first chapters of the thesis surrounding the political, academic, and media context of late-20th and early-21st century childhoods.
The goal is to have begun interviews by the autumn.
