If you are reading this you are likely a participant in this project, or interested in becoming one. If so, thank you! Your contribution is essential to the success of this project so it may accurately reflect real history. This project is in part an oral history, which means we are interviewing people of the North East about their childhood and/or parental experiences in the region.
If you have stories and memories of growing up or caring for children in the North East from the 1980s to today, then you are somebody we would like to speak to. Lots of people think they wouldn’t have anything interesting to say, but it is always the case that people surprise themselves with interesting details that come out through conversation! If you choose to take part, you can at any time during or after the interview decide you no longer want to take part and parts or all of your testimony will be deleted at your request. If you would like to speak to us, or would like some more information before making a decision, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
